NICOLE RENNIE

Equal parts Venezuelan, Italian, New Yorker and South African, Nicole brings a unique blend of creativity, chutzpah, soul and worldly sophistication to everything she does. With more than a decade of film production experience and a solid background in corporate strategy, marketing, and social entrepreneurship, Nicole inherently understands her clients’ needs and priorities while managing the delivery of highly creative and nimble teams. 

Her work spans from commercial production to branded content, global impact storytelling to Emmy award winning broadcast TV and corporate communications. Some of her clients include Oakley, Ralph Lauren, Estee Lauder, eBay, Microsoft, Yelp, Teach For America, The Clinton Foundation, and CommonSpirit Health, among many others. 

Prior to founding FORWARD storystudio, Nicole worked in the publishing industry in New York. She holds a BA Honors in Film from Queens University in Canada, and an MBA from Columbia University. She has lived in 4 continents and speaks English, Spanish, Italian and French. She’s a certified yoga teacher and is happiest traveling the world, cooking for family and friends, or on a SUP. She lives in beautiful Marin County with her husband, 2 children, her dog, 2 cats, and a hamster.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

CONNOR DAVIS

Connor is a versatile television and commercial film Creative Director with a rich portfolio spanning both documentary and scripted storytelling. He has deep experience across the full scope of production and post-production. With a high level of creativity and expertise, Connor breathes life into each story, making it resonate on a profoundly personal level.  He leaves an indelible mark on every project he touches.

Connor has worked as (lead?) editor on programming for Apple TV+, Amazon, AMC, and CBS to a diverse array of advertising campaigns for brands like Budweiser, Google, Microsoft, Etsy, Kindbars, Salesforce, Dignity Health, Patagonia and more. His work has been showcased worldwide and has garnered critical acclaim, been honored with an audience award at the Tribeca Film Festival, and been submitted for Emmy consideration.

When he's not working on his next project, you can find Connor in Los Angeles buzzing around the sky as he's finishing his pilot's license.

LEAD CINEMATOGRAPHER

NOAH STOUT

Noah is an Emmy Award winning cinematographer and director whose attention to detail, dedication to beauty, and pursuit of the perfect frame is unwavering. 

Noah started his career at Ogilvy & Mather advertising agency two decades ago, and has since gone on to direct and capture films around the world for organizations such as Showtime, Facebook, Google, the UFC, the Aspen Institute, Sony Pictures, Ralph Lauren, Cisco, and many more. From documenting refugee camps in Bangladesh to intimately portraying sports legends like Floyd Mayweather and Rhonda Rousey for UFC, Noah's breadth of content is wide. He is driven by stories of fascinating individuals that shed light on the universal human condition. 

Noah’s films have been presented at Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Harvard, and in film festivals around the world. He obtained a BA in Film Studies from Emory University, and an MFA in Filmmaking from MassArt. He lives in San Francisco near the Pacific Ocean and is dad to Luka, the best and sweetest dog in the world.
